Introduction
Welcome to Aurum Beauty, part of the Aurum Group in Jersey. We provide mobile beauty, hair, foot care, and wellbeing treatments for individuals who may be less mobile or prefer professional care at home.
By booking or receiving a service with Aurum Beauty, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
Our Services

Aurum Beauty provides mobile beauty and wellbeing services at clients’ homes, care homes, and community locations.

Services are carried out only by trained, insured, and vetted professionals.

A full list of available treatments and prices can be provided upon request or viewed on our official social media and marketing materials.

We reserve the right to decline a treatment where it would be unsafe or unsuitable for the client’s health or wellbeing.
Booking and Appointments

Bookings can be made by phone, email, or online request.
-
Appointments are subject to therapist availability and confirmation from the Aurum Beauty team.

New clients must complete a Client Consultation and Consent Form before the first treatment.

Certain treatments may require a patch test at least 24–48 hours before the appointment; failure to complete this may result in cancellation or refusal of treatment.
Health, Safety & Medical Conditions

Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, and recent procedures during consultation.

Aurum Beauty reserves the right to refuse or adapt a treatment if there is a medical reason or risk to health and safety.

Clients with infections, open wounds, or contagious conditions may be declined service for hygiene reasons.

Staff have the right to withdraw from an appointment if they feel unsafe or are exposed to an unsuitable environment (e.g., aggression, smoking, or unhygienic conditions).
Fees and Payment

All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and include GST where applicable.

Payment is due within 7 days of the treatment unless otherwise agreed.

Accepted payment methods: cash, card, or online transfer.

Invoices for care home or group bookings must also be paid within 7 days of issue.

Aurum Beauty reserves the right to charge interest or late fees on overdue balances in accordance with Jersey law.
Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change, but as a small mobile business, late cancellations affect our ability to operate efficiently.

More than 24 hours’ notice: No charge.

Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the appointment cost may be charged.
-
No-show or cancellation on arrival: Full treatment cost will be charged.
-
Repeated cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.
-
If Aurum Beauty must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered the earliest possible reschedule or a full refund (if prepaid).
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

Provide a safe, smoke-free, and hygienic environment for the treatment.

Supervise any pets or others present during the appointment.
-
Ensure adequate lighting and access to electrical sockets where needed.
-
Treat staff with courtesy and respect at all times.
-
Aurum Beauty has a zero-tolerance policy towards aggression, harassment, or discriminatory behaviour.
Children and Vulnerable Adults

Treatments for minors (under 18) require the presence and written consent of a parent or guardian.

Where treatments take place in care settings or for adults at risk, Aurum Beauty staff follow the Adult Safeguarding Policy and will report any concerns in accordance with Jersey’s safeguarding procedures.
Privacy and Confidentiality

All client information is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.

Aurum Beauty’s Privacy Policy (available on request or online) explains how personal data is collected, stored, and used.

Client information will never be sold or shared for marketing without explicit consent.

Any photographs used for marketing will only be shared with signed client consent.
Vouchers and Promotions

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
-
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.
-
Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
-
Promotional discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
Insurance and Liability

Aurum Beauty and its staff hold full professional liability and public indemnity insurance for all treatments offered.

While every effort is made to ensure your safety, Aurum Beauty cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during appointments.

Clients must follow aftercare advice provided by the therapist; Aurum Beauty is not liable for adverse reactions caused by failure to follow this advice.
Complaints
We aim to provide a professional and caring service at all times. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment or experience:

Raise the issue with your therapist immediately, if possible.

Contact Aurum Beauty Management via email or phone within 7 days of your appointment.

We will investigate and aim to resolve the issue within 10 working days.

If a resolution cannot be reached, clients may contact the Jersey Trading Standards Service or Citizens Advice Jersey for independent advice.

All staff undergo safeguarding and professional boundaries training. Any concerns about a client’s welfare will be reported following Jersey’s multi-agency safeguarding procedures.
Changes to Terms
Aurum Beauty reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website or made available upon request. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Jersey Law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Royal Court of Jersey.
